I love writing, be it creative writing, marketing writing, or journalism.
Most recently, I’ve been creating donor communications for Stanford–everything from annual reports to postcards to web copy to brochures to videos. I began as a journalist, way back before you could google anything and everything. Then I moved into science writing and fell in love with learning about difficult subjects and explaining them to a lay audience.
I’ve also taken extensive professional development classes in project and people management. I’m excited to put these skills to work for non-profits and other businesses.
I got two masters along the way–one in Literature from Harvard, the other in creative writing from Lesley University. I’ve published some short stories and essays, and have a literary podcast.
When I’m not writing, I like taking walks around my California neighborhood with my son, knitting, playing Pickleball, and taking silly photos. (At right, finding some laughs during a conference on podcasting in LA.)
